View and Unlock Locked Accounts

How to View and Unlock Locked Accounts in MyGuestBan

If a user account becomes locked due to multiple failed login attempts, you can quickly unlock it from the administration section. Follow these steps to view and unlock locked accounts.

Step 1: Access the User Management Section

  1. Log in to MyGuestBan: Go to myguestban.com and log in with your administrator credentials.
  2. Navigate to the Users Page: Go to the Administration tab and select Users. This will display the list of all user accounts.

Step 2: Filter for Locked Accounts

  1. Filter Locked Accounts:
    • Check the box labeled Only Locked Users.
    • Click Search or Refresh to view only the accounts that are currently locked.

Step 3: Unlock the Account

  1. Select the User:
    • Find the user you wish to unlock from the filtered list.
    • Click Actions next to the user’s name and select Unlock.
  2. Confirmation:
    • Once unlocked, the user will be able to log in with their existing credentials.
