Guide For Hotels On New Guest Ban ID Scanning Driver

Initiating Scanning In Synxis Hub

To begin the scanning process, first, open Synxis Hub. When checking in a guest, go to the Guest Details section.

1. Prepare the ID for Scanning:
   • Place the ID on the scanner it does not matter which side is placed first.
   • Then, flip the ID over and place the other side down.
2. Trigger the IDFill Process:
   • A popup window will appear with option for ‘Guest Details’.
     1. Click the first name field first to select it.
     2. Then click the Guest Details button on the popup
   • By following these steps, the guest’s ID information will be accurately and efficiently filled into their profile.

Note: IDfill has a handy feature where it remembers its last position. If you have a preferred area on your screen for the popup, simply move it there and IDfill will open in that same location the next time. To dismiss the IDfill popup, click the ‘X’ icon located at the corner of the popup window.

Additionally, IDfill will automatically correct and update the guest’s profile accordingly.
