If you’re having trouble logging into MyGuestBan, the most common reason is that the correct hotel (tenant) account is not selected before entering your username and password. Follow this step-by-step guide to ensure you’re logging in correctly.
Step-by-Step Guide to Login
- Open Your Web Browser:
- Launch your preferred web browser and ensure it’s up-to-date for optimal performance with MyGuestBan.
- Navigate to the Login Page:
- In the address bar, type myguestban.com and press Enter to access the Guest Ban login page.
- Switching the Tenant (Hotel Account) Before Login:
- Before entering your username and password, confirm that your correct hotel (tenant) is selected at the top of the page.
- If the correct hotel is not selected:
- Click the Change button next to the tenant name.
- A popup will appear prompting you to select your hotel.
- In the popup, type the name of your hotel (e.g., “Aelius”) and click Switch to this Tenant.
- Enter Your Login Credentials:
- Once you’ve confirmed the correct tenant, enter your login information:
- Username: Enter the username provided by your administrator.
- Password: Enter the associated password.
- Once you’ve confirmed the correct tenant, enter your login information:
- Click the Login Button:
- After entering your credentials and verifying the tenant, click Login. You’ll be directed to the Guest Ban Dashboard, where you can access and manage guest information and alerts.

1. Incorrect Hotel Tenant Selected
- Issue: The system doesn’t recognize your login because the wrong tenant (hotel account) is selected.
- Solution: Always confirm that the correct tenant (hotel) is selected before entering your credentials. Follow the steps above under Switching the Tenant to verify your hotel account.
2. Incorrect Username or Password
- Issue: You receive an error message indicating your username or password is incorrect.
- Solution:
- Double-check that your username and password are entered correctly. Passwords are case-sensitive, so make sure Caps Lock is not enabled.
- If you’ve forgotten your password, click the Forgot your password link on the login page to reset it.
3. Account Locked After Multiple Failed Login Attempts
- Issue: Your account is locked after five incorrect login attempts.
