How to Search for a Guest

How to Search for a Guest in MyGuestBan

Once logged in to your MyGuestBan account, follow these steps to locate guest records quickly and efficiently.

Step 1: Access the Guests Page

  • From the dashboard, navigate to the Guests page to access the guest search features.

Step 2: Use the Basic Search Bar

  • At the top of the Guests page, locate the search bar.
  • Enter the guest’s name into the search bar and click the search icon to pull up matching results.

Step 3: Use Advanced Filters for More Specific Searches

  • For more detailed search options, click Show Advanced Filters below the search bar. This will expand additional fields, allowing for precise filtering based on various criteria:
    • Check-in Date Range: Set a date range to narrow down guests who checked in within a specific time frame. This is useful for cases involving chargebacks, law enforcement requests, or other date-specific inquiries.
    • Identification Number: Search using the guest’s ID number for exact matches.
    • First Name and Last Name: Separate fields for more specific name searches.
    • City and Zip Code: Limit results to guests from specific locations.

Tips for Efficient Searches

  • Setting Date Ranges is particularly useful if you need records related to specific check-in times, such as for chargeback investigations or police inquiries.
  • Use multiple filters (e.g., date range + identification number) to quickly locate the exact guest record needed.
