Our Flag a Guest feature lets you mark guests who need special attention, and even filter your guest list to see all flagged guests at once.
Why Flag a Guest?
Consider flagging a guest if they:
- Seem suspicious or engage in unusual behavior
- Require additional verification ex running a criminal check
- Need extra watch for security reasons
- Have shown behavior that property owners or managers should be aware of
Step-by-Step Guide
- Navigate to the Guest Tab
- Go to the ‘Guest’ tab in your dashboard. This displays all current and past guests.
- Locate the Flag Icon
- Next to each guest’s name, you’ll see a grey flag icon if the guest is not flagged. A red flag means the guest is already flagged.
- Click the Flag Icon to Flag the Guest
- Click on the grey flag icon. A prompt will appear, asking you to confirm. Once confirmed, the flag will turn red, and the guest is now flagged in the system.
- Alert to Property Managers and Owners
- Upon flagging, managers and owners automatically receive an alert, ensuring they’re promptly informed about the guest’s flagged status.
- Remove a Flag
- To remove a flag, click the red flag icon again and confirm. The flag will revert to grey, indicating the guest is no longer flagged.
- Filter Guests by Flagged Status
- If you want to see a list of all flagged guests:
- Find the ‘Show Advanced Filters’ link under the search bar in the Guests tab.
- Click ‘Flagged Guest.’
- Hit the search icon to view only flagged guests.
