Accessing Your My Guest Ban Dashboard – How to Login (With Tenant Switch)
Step-by-Step Guide to Login:
- Open Web Browser:
- Launch the web browser. Make sure it is up-to-date for the best experience with My Guest Ban.
- Navigate to the Login Page:
- In the address bar, type myguestban.com and press Enter to access the Guest Ban login page.
- Switching the Tenant (Hotel Account) Before Login:
- Before entering your login credentials, confirm that the correct hotel (tenant) is selected at the top of the page.
- If your hotel’s account is NOT displayed as the current tenant:
- Click on the “Change” button next to the tenant name.
- A popup will appear prompting you to switch the tenant.
- In the popup, type the name of your hotel (for example, “Aelius”), then click “Switch to this Tenant”.
- Enter Your Login Credentials:
- After confirming the correct tenant:
- Username: Enter the username provided by your administrator.
- Password: Enter the password associated with your account.
- After confirming the correct tenant:
- Click “Login” Button:
- After entering your credentials and ensuring the correct tenant is selected, click the “Login” button.
- You will be directed to the Guest Ban Dashboard, where you can manage guest information and alerts.
Common Issues and Troubleshooting:
1. Incorrect Hotel Tenant Selected:
- Issue: The system does not recognize your login because the wrong tenant (hotel account) is selected.
- Solution:
- Always ensure the correct tenant (hotel) is selected before entering your username and password.
- Follow the steps under “Switching the Tenant” above to confirm the correct hotel account is selected.
2. Incorrect Username or Password:
- Issue: You receive an error message that your username or password is incorrect.
- Solution:
- Double-check that you are entering the correct username and password.
- Passwords are case-sensitive, so ensure Caps Lock is not enabled.
- If you’ve forgotten your password, click the “Forgot your password” link to reset it.
3. Account Locked After Multiple Failed Login Attempts:
- Issue: Your account is locked after five incorrect login attempts.
- Solution:
- If you have entered incorrect credentials five times, your account will be locked for security reasons. Contact your manager to unlock your account.
