How to Search for a Guest in MyGuestBan
Once logged in to your MyGuestBan account, follow these steps to locate guest records quickly and efficiently.
Step 1: Access the Guests Page
- From the dashboard, navigate to the Guests page to access the guest search features.
Step 2: Use the Basic Search Bar
- At the top of the Guests page, locate the search bar.
- Enter the guest’s name into the search bar and click the search icon to pull up matching results.
Step 3: Use Advanced Filters for More Specific Searches
- For more detailed search options, click Show Advanced Filters below the search bar. This will expand additional fields, allowing for precise filtering based on various criteria:
- Check-in Date Range: Set a date range to narrow down guests who checked in within a specific time frame. This is useful for cases involving chargebacks, law enforcement requests, or other date-specific inquiries.
- Identification Number: Search using the guest’s ID number for exact matches.
- First Name and Last Name: Separate fields for more specific name searches.
- City and Zip Code: Limit results to guests from specific locations.
Tips for Efficient Searches
- Setting Date Ranges is particularly useful if you need records related to specific check-in times, such as for chargeback investigations or police inquiries.
- Use multiple filters (e.g., date range + identification number) to quickly locate the exact guest record needed.
